CoastWIDE Vision 2012

OUR VISION.

What does 2012 hold for you? A year to receive every promise fulfilled? Another year to focus on reaching your dreams and goals? What about a year to focus helping others reach their dreams, goals and potential? To say I am going to look at the bigger picture of becoming involved in something bigger than myself, a vision a dream bigger than what I could ever accomplish on my own. A vision that if I sowed my heart, my attitude, my time and effort into could just be the catalyst to seeing someone else transformed from struggling to successful in every area of life. Every successful person I have read about or met say the same thing, life is not about reaching my dream, it’s about helping enough others reach their dream and in the midst of that they reach their dream.

We want to be about people not just building a church. Building the lives of people not just building the life of church. About helping you to find your dream in God, then partnering together to see that dream a reality. How many musicians have died without ever having played a note, how many evangelists have never led a person to Christ, how many millionaires are still in debt, how many missionaries have never stepped onto the mission field? We are limited, not by abilities, but by our vision. CoastWIDE church is you, not a program, building or 1 person alone but a group of people believing and standing together. What could God do with a group of people who will stand together in love, refusing criticism of any sort, with one vision and mission, together reaching people for Jesus, with an unending passion to be all God intends for them to be?

Your present focus determines your present feelings.

When you change your focus you change your feelings.

Gen 15:1_5. After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward. And He said to him, So shall your descendants be. Ab tried to get God to look @ what he was looking at. What are you looking @? The question is not really what are you looking at but what are you seeing? It will be affecting your feelings. Imagine how God handles vision. Creates man, man rejects Him, finds another man who eventually stands in faith, finds more men, then finds more to reject Him, keeps going until one day.

Prov 29 : 18.

Habakkuk 2 : 2_3

Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Vision. (ary) What do we want to be? Future. A picture we see. See’s what’s possible.

We see CoastWIDE Church as a passionate, Christ-Centred church that is transforming our community by demonstrating God’s love and His supernatural power.

Mission Statement. (ary) How to fulfill the vision. Present. The doing part.

To Establish a culture of vibrancy and life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. Equipping people to live extraordinary lives by the power of the Holy Spirit and Word Of God. Building on a foundation of love, acceptance and mercy we demonstrate the compassion of Christ who brings hope and healing to our community.

House of prayer

Jesus said, “So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.16 And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple.17 Then He taught, saying to them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations ? But you have made it a den of thieves.”

Soul winning church

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1 : 15

Home groups - relationship based

Once a month. Dinners on different nights to build strong relationships with one another. The Kingdom of God is about families not individuals being separate from each other.

Acts 2 : 44_47 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Mission trips - Going from Jerusalem, to Judea, Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth. That’s from the Gold Coast, to Queensland, to Australia, to every other nation God opens up for us. Rani to Philippines.

Marriage seminar - 20th (Fri) & 21st (Sat) April

Encounter weekends _ Thursday night to Saturday lunchtime. To spend time with God. “The cross, Repentance, Forgiveness, Encountering God, Holy Spirit, Vision and purpose.

Holy Spirit church – We want to become a Holy Spirit led and inspired church, where God’s presence dwells and it’s not just talked about but experienced in a real and tangible way.

We have a passion to see every person released from debt and flourishing in the financial breakthrough that God throughout scripture promises us. To be BLESSED to be a BLESSING. Sunday nights from 19^th February will be dedicated to sharing the Word of God relating to Kingdom Prosperity. Not just money, but heart attitude, changing mindsets about God’s provision and yes, how to get out of debt, stay out of debt and live the abundant blessed life God has already provided for us.

Shane Willard – Next Sunday in 9am and 6pm meetings, also on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7pm. Shane always brings a great word from God. He has a gift to reach back and bring the foundations of the Jewish culture into today’s culture.
