Series: Prayer that works
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Outlandish statement, an over the top promise.
Does God really mean this? He says what He means and means what He says. It will or it shall :- strongest way words can be put.
P C Nelson, a Greek scholar, says the literal rendering of this verse says, “If you shall ask anything in my name and I don’t have it, then I will make it for you.”

Series: Prayer that works
Often we are too quick to pray. One of the great keys to answered prayer is coming to God with the answer based on His Word. The prayer of petition is a prayer that is not prayed too quickly as time is taken to back every word of this prayer with scripture. Paul tells us in Ephesians to pray always, to not give up, when you have done all to stand, stand.

We need to understand that we have a heavenly bank account that we can make withdrawals from when needed. God is not holding out on us in any area. Can God bless us financially? Yes. Will He do it for me? Yes He will. Make a withdrawal from your account today.

Series: Prayer that works
We all know we should pray. Most people know prayer has great benefits, so why don't we pray more? Time poor, not sure how to pray, feel as though life is going OK and we can manage things OK. Really want to but not willing to take the time to actually do it. No enjoyment in prayer, never taken the time to link enjoyment to prayer, not compulsion to pray but enjoyment.
Missing ingredient to prayer. Thanks giving and rejoicing.

This has nothing to do with trying to get money from you; it has everything to do with trying to get money to you. Never use people to get money, you use money to get people. Giving has more to do with our heart attitude than it does with the actual money.
